Sally discovered her love at baking at an early age. Learning a great deal from her mother and grandmother, two great Southern cooks, Sally was taught to value the traditional and experimental aspects of cooking. A friend of the family and self-taught pastry chef, Sara Mack, continued to encourage Sally to bake as a young girl. Many mornings were spent poring over cake recipes and pictures of party cakes in Better Homes and Gardens and Southern Living.
These days Sally continues the tradition of baking moist, delicious, homemade cakes, but has added her own intensive research to the process. Her love of food is equaled by her passion for the visual arts. Sally continues to broaden her decorating expertise as a member of the International Cake Societe' and by studying with noted decorators such as Nicholas Lodge and Kerry Vincent.
Baking is an art form to Sally. She has a passion to bake cakes which are long remembered for both beauty and taste. Sally has never compromised her cakes' superior quality and is an artist with a desire to please. She is a master in her field who is always looking for new trends and techniques to add to her repertoire. Please take a moment to view her portfolio.
